London Marathon 2016
Momentum are delighted that we were able to offer two of our London Marathon places for 2016 to two very brave people. Clair Birch and Steven Gallacher who work for the Rehab Group have very bravely took on the hard challenge of running the London Marathon to raise funds for Momentum.
To those of us who sit and watch it on TV, it all looks very easy, but we all know deep down that this is a gruelling but enjoyable event. Clare and Steven have now committed a lot of dedication to their training which is not something that everyone would take on.
Clare Birch is a Partnership and Provisions Manager in Rehab Jobfit down in Swansea and
Steven Gallacher works out of Haven Recycling in Hillingon, Glasgow as a manufacturing manager.
It is a fantastic feeling knowing that we are all working towards the same goal within one big charitable organisation (Rehab). That goal of course being to help and support people with disabilities or who are social excluded back into society and the workplace.
Both Clare and Steven have set up their sponsorship pages on virginmoneygiving. It would be greatly appreciated if you could please show your support for them if you can. That support could be by giving a donation or by sharing this with friends and family on Facebook or Twitter. Social Media is a powerful tool - let's use it to benefit our Momentum services.
Watch this space for their training updates!
Thank you from all at Momentum for your continued support
